The live action Ghost in the Shell movie is a bit of a mix bag for me while it does great in some areas like the its aesthetic atmosphere it just absolutely fails is other aspects like its generic story. I didn't care about the whitewashing controversy with Scarlett Johansson being The Major rather than some no name Asian actress so thats didnt effect my score at all.
