If you changed a couple things with the script like actually making the journey of the characters purposeful and less romance BS this could have been a decent sci-fi which is a shame as i liked the score and the visuals of space.

King Kong really takes a step back in character development in this version but there are some great action scenes and honestly i never really cared about this movie i just knew it had to happen before we get Godzilla vs King Kong.
